What is EvalCare?
A child’s early educational experiences are invaluable. They help shape ones outlook on
academics, socialization, and life.
During this critical time, parents and teachers often observe
behaviors in children that may require the need for therapeutic
intervention. A comprehensive evaluation can determine the best approach for each
EvalCare, Inc. is a NYS approved agency, available to conduct English
and bilingual Hebrew/English and Yiddish/English preschool-age
assessments at no cost to families.
When to call EvalCare?
It is never too early! Research has shown that prompt intervention can make the difference a
child needs to succeed.
Where do the evaluations take place?
Evaluations can be provided in the privacy of a child’s home, school,
or at our center. All aspects of the program are confidential ensuring
privacy and respect for families and their children.

How do I know if my child needs an evaluation?
Simply call us! Any parent or school personnel concerned about a
child’s development may contact EvalCare. Our caring staff will answer
any questions and help guide the parent through the initial referral

All evaluations are at no cost to the family and the parent has the right to discontinue
services at any time.
